I am sorry to say there will be no new updates this week. With going out of town last weekend and hosting Thanksgiving yesterday I have had no time to write this last week. Add to that I am now working on a 22 page term paper that is due in two weeks, I will not be able to finish any story updates for a little while. Don’t worry I am not leaving everyone for long. You just have to bare with me until my class is over. I promise there will be more updates before the christmas and such. I just need to focus on school for the new couple of weeks.
See everyone again soon!
Just like I promised I have updated the The Nine Tribes: Unrest. You can find the newest chapter, Chapter 5: Owned here, or you can read it form the start here! The posting of Unrest may slow down a bit now as I do not yet have chapter 6 finished, but I will try to have it done in time to post for Thanksgiving!
Just a quick not to let everyone know that Face of Evil is finally completely up on this site! *happy dance* and that is the last of my published work. So I am completely up to date!
You should also see another chapter to Smell of Submission up tomorrow or the next as the chapter is done and I am just waiting for it to be edited. I have also been working on a chapter of Face of War and it is like 3/4 of the way done… so you guys should see that soonish as well!
First off I am sorry this is late, I know I said I would be posting it on Thursday, but I have class that night and I forgot. For anyone who is interested though The Nine Tribes: Unrest has been updated and chapter 4 is up! I am now only one chapter ahead of these post so its updating may slow down a bit, we will see. You know I don’t like rushing chapters either because then they are not as good as they could be.
In other things. The sidebar is starting to get comically long. I am thinking about taking my stories off of it and just having the links at the top, what do people think of that idea? I want people to be able to easily find the stories they wish to read, but I don’t want the page to be unruly.
As for the surprise I said I would be posting on my birthday, well that didn’t happen. I have it written, but my beta just got to it today so I have had time to think about it, and I think I will hold off on posting any of it till I have a few less projects ongoing.
So it is my birthday today! I am *mumble mumble mumble*… But I spent the day doing nothing but writing and lazing about the house! So you all get an Update of The Smell of Submission, and another surprise that will come later tonight… I think… Enjoy!
Just a short message to let everyone know I have updated The Nine Tribes: Unrest. I have decided to will be posting it here on Thursday and at AFF.net on Fridays. For those of you enjoying the story I would love to hear from you.
My second note is that I have fixed my oversight with Blind Nymph and now the all currant chapters have been posted.
For some a muse is a tangible person. Usually being around their muse helps inspire the artist/writer/whatever to create. For others, like myself, our muse is more the part of ourselves that gets inspired. It is that little voice in our heads that tells us it is time to create.
I have learned many things about my muse over the years, and many more things since I started to write again a few months ago. The first one should know about her, is she is stubborn. When she wants to work on a particle project she is only going to inspire me for that project. If I try to work on things she is not currently interested in she fights me tooth and nail. Her weapons of choice are usually distraction and very bad writing on my part. I have deleted more than a few chapters because when I reread them they were just…awful.
The second thing you should know about my muse is she is sort of a flake. She skips here and there without a care. I have found there is no real rhyme or reason to what she becomes interested in. I have found myself working on one project for a few minutes only to find that now she wants to work on a different one. Sometimes the new project is just that, new. She whispers like a temping devil in my ear: “why don’t we write a story about this and that?” Even though I have four other projects already going. I have finally had to put my foot down on that one, as I do currently have six projects being written. Two of which get worked on very slowly and you may not see for a few months.
The third and final thing you need to know about my muse is that she is kind of a pervert. Or at least that is what she has been lately. For some reason that I do not know, she has much preferred to work on my erotica stories rather than my more serious ones. Which is why Face of War and Blind Nymph (Just realized I have not posted the latter on this site at all, will work on fixing that today) have been updated so sparsely as of late.
So this is a little about my muse, I hope it helps people understand why I post what I post when I post it. I would be interested in hearing about other people’s muses as well! Do you have the same difficulties, or completely different ones?
Well the big news of today is I have punished chapter 14 of Smell of Submission! As well as a side chapter with Cho/Neville called: A Little Boost, for those of you who are interested!
I will be posting all new chapters here before I post them to any other site.
Also I am working on getting the rest of Quidditch Lesson up for your enjoyment and I think I may have that done by the end of the day. Only thing left after that is Face of Evil, but those chapters are very long.
Well I hope everyone enjoys the new chapter, and let me know what you think! Love to read comments!
Just posted chapter 2 of Face of War!
Also if anyone is interested I have decided to start a twitter account as well so I don’t have to put one line updates in my blog space! This is me!
This is just a quick post to let everyone know I put the final chapters of Quidditch Lesson up and I also posted chapter 2 of The Nine Tribes: Unrest. My plan for the rest of the day is to try and finish chapter 2 of Face of War, but I am not making any promises.
